Alexis Saville, LCSW

I'm so happy you are here. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Birmingham, Alabama. Becoming a therapist became a dream of mine after I did my own work in therapy, witnessing first hand just how magical a space to be seen, heard, and healed can do for ones soul.

In awe of the resilience of the human spirit, I'm honored to be with clients in their most important work-helping them work through what makes us all human. If you think we'd be a good fit, send me a message! I can't wait to meet you!

Background: I graduated from The University of Missouri in Psychology with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies and received my Master's in Social Work from The University of Alabama.

my Services

I provide psychotherapy to teens-adults specializing in women's issues, relationships, transitions, parenting, anxiety, and trauma. I compassionately meet each client where they are in their journey and work hard to create a safe and supportive space for growth and healing. My therapy approach is evidence-based, collaborative, and tailored to each client, utilizing a variety of treatment modalities based on individual needs and customized to what will be most beneficial for the client. I work hard to create a therapeutic environment that feels welcoming and authentic.

a few facts about me

I refer to my office as my “Oasis” and I hope it becomes that for you too, I promise it won’t feel like a doctors office-no stuffy-ness allowed! I'll refer to you as my client, not my patient - we're in this together.

01

I want you to show up as yourself, so If that means you like to drink your coffee on my couch with your shoes off I get it- and if that means dropping a cuss word, I get that too. I sit in the room WITH you, meet you where you’re at, and accept you unconditionally.

02

I customize my approach and modalities to each client’s individual needs instead of a one-size-fits-all approach. I utilize evidence-based practices, that apply best to what we're working on together.
